Job Description
Our client, a leader in Defense technologies is seeking a seasoned and talented Project Cost Analyst to join a project for the next 10 months.
Must be a US Citizen in order to apply. Job details follow:
Project Control Analyst - SAP Schedule Emphasis
Responsibilities:
Provide planning, scheduling, cost management and change control to SAP Implementation Project for our client. Set up WBS and cost accounts for earned value analysis and reporting. Develop and track earned value metrics, perform variance analysis, cost forecasting, and proactive problem identification. Facilitate project communications and progress/performance reporting. Develop & manage medium to large project schedules utilizing MSP.
Education Required:
BS or equivalent experience
Preferred Experience:
5-10 years of in-depth experience developing, analyzing and reporting progress on schedules for large complex projects.
SAP Implementation Project Experience
Skill Required:
In-depth hands on experience as a Project Schedule Analyst.
Experience with cost and schedule integration.
Experience with earned value concepts, calculations, performance measurement and variance analysis
Experience with progress analysis, trending and forecasting
Experience with Change Management.
Experience in developing and progressing detailed complex critical path schedules.
Experience with resource loading schedules.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Project or other scheduling tools.
Knowledge of Government Contracting requirements.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of software packages.
Strong leadership skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong analytical skills.
Customer focused.
