The core focus of the role is to design, implement, manage, and support desktop, servers, systems, and network to reliably and efficiently provide the infrastructure and support to the business This role is perfect for a "jack of all trades" who has experience with a variety of systems and both server and network experience.
•Ability to monitor systems and perform day-to-day server administration.
•Responsible for system documentation, job scheduling, installations and upgrades.
•Ensure that all Licensed software is up to date and compliant with all software support agreements.
•Ensure that all hardware maintenance contracts are tracked and kept up to date.
•Must be able to assist other internal and external support organizations to analyze and troubleshoot 2nd and 3rd level support issues when they occur.
•Ability to analyze, design and troubleshoot network support issues.
•Ability to mentor, coach, and train other systems administrators.
•Must possess knowledge and experience in both Linux and Windows Server.
•Must be proficient in system performance monitoring and capacity planning.
•Must be able to evaluate and recommend new hardware and software solutions or other emerging technologies.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required.
