Position Details:
We have an outstanding opportunity for a Senior Manager, Retail Industry Consultant to service major retailer’s transformation projects. We are looking for an experienced retail industry consultant to serve retailers. You will be covering a mix of: retail best practices; driving and orchestrate multiple solutions involving multiple suppliers and integrations, towards achieving successfully the purpose of a project / business challenge; managing business and technology risks; how to propose agile solutions that will largely improve their business to their customers. You understand the main components of a retailer’s IT architecture and have Program Management experience in running large retail transformation projects. You are interested in optimizing retail processes that allow retailers to effectively manage the buying, moving and selling their products (digital and physical) and how businesses respond and navigate an ever-changing world of complexity, uncertainty, and paradoxes. You are able to sell services both farming existing accounts and hunting for new accounts.
Our ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of external consulting experience (5+ years) in the retail industry to this role, ideally from top-tier professional services firms where you have developed relevant experience through consulting engagements in Operational Excellence, Manufacturing Performance Improvement, Supply Chain Planning, Warehouse/DC optimization or Logistics. You have a track record of opening new accounts, growing them, and in building long term relationships. You will lead an assigned team consisting of consultants, partners and/or business development associates to define, execute and achieve sales plans. Proven ability to grow accounts and generate new business.
Excellent interpersonal skills, innovative team player, demonstrated leadership skills, proven track record of exceeding personal revenue goals, strong project management and time management skills.
Six Figure Base Salary + Bonus. Excellent benefits.
