  • Provide company wide direction in areas of policy, standards, business practices to ensure effective and consistent operations, and to safeguard information resources around the world.
  • Lead IT organizational structure and service deployment strategy considering in-house vs. third-party services and solutions ensuring optimal use of resources and maximizing efficiency and business process support.
  • Establish strategic relationships and external entities, including vendors, and partner organizations
  • Implement global IT policies ensuring maximum system efficiency and uptime, and compliance with all applicable US and international data requirements.
  • Direct and develop enterprise-wide disaster recovery and business continuity plan.

  • B.A./ B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field required, MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
  • 15 years’ experience in Information Technology with progressive increases in responsibility to a position of senior leadership in information technology, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology space.
  • Leading a 20 - 25 person IT organization while positioning the team as a service provider to the business with the ability to motivate and empower staff. 
  • Strong skills in IT Service Management and adoption of ITIL
  • Track record of developing and implementing strategic IT objectives and technology plans to support corporate vision and growth.
  • Management of the IT Budget, ROI and corporate financial performance for global information systems.
  • Understanding of regulations and compliance requirements in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology space preferred.
