Our Global Manufacturing client is seeking an IT Governance resource who can assume responsibility for running the newly established IT governance process and maturing the organization in the area over time by researching and implementing industry best practices to make sure IT investments are in line with the business strategy.

KEY SKILLS:  Organizational Change Management, Continuous Improvement, Process/IT Service Design, SDLC, ITIL, Project Management (Agile/Waterfall), Strong Presentation Skills, Excellent Communication Skills
  • Work together with site SMEs, Plant Directors and Functional Managers, IT managers, Business Relationship Managers to drive through their requests in the Governance process
  • Ensure adherence to defined IT Governance process
  • Education and advise stakeholders and other parties on the process
  • Define and regularly report on KPIs to measure the success of IT Governance
  • Audit the operation of the various IT teams and prepare report on compliance
  • Identify gaps and improvement opportunities of the process
  • Benchmark IT Governance practices and make recommendations on their implementation
  • Create templates, define requirements for IT tools to support the area
  • Advocate IT Governance principles
  • Understand and embrace the global Information Technology strategic direction
  • Minimum of 8 years' work-related experience required in the field of IT, 4 years of experience in a similar position
  • Higher degree in relevant field (Computer Science or related, Organizational Change Management)
  • Good understanding of software development lifecycle
  • Demonstrated process/IT service design experience
  • Structured, process driven, pragmatic problem solver approach
  • Experience with working in a multicultural environment
  • Organizational change management experience
  • Continuous service improvement mindset
  • Excellent MS PowerPoint skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Persistent personality
  • Able to overcome obstacles individually 
  • Strong Project management experience (Agile and Waterfall)
  • ITIL Foundations Certification
